Name: Sofia Mattsson
Birthdate: June 24, 1991
Hometown: Stockholm, Sweden

Sofia Mattsson was raised in Stockholm, Sweden where she had a career as a model and singer and during this time she was also on the Swedish reality series Dropped which sees two celebrities left in a remote location blindfolded and needing to find their way back to civilization. After visiting her sister Helena who was a working actress in Los Angeles she decided at nineteen to make the move to the US and pursue her dream of acting. This lead to roles in various short films and web series along with guest spots on primetime shows such as Two and a Half Men and NCIS. Before perfecting an American accent Sofia primarily did roles that needed a Swedish/Russian/European accent. In more recent years Sofia has been seen in TV movies including The Wrong Husband and Long Lost Daughter, and in 2018 she landed the role of Sasha Gilmore on ABC’s General Hospital which is a contract character on the soap.

In addition to her busy acting career Sofia co-founded handbag company Ava Carrington alongside her older sister Helena in 2019. The company designs quality handbags that are cruelty-free and environmentally friendly.
